Responsibilities

• Lead user interface design projects through the design and development cycle (including user research, testing and analysis, requirements definition, conceptual design, interaction design and interaction specification)
• Work directly with product managers to look at product requirements and focus on the user experience and efficiency of the product and ease-of-use.
• Brainstorm big-picture changes to the product behavior and user experience.
• Conduct user research and usability testing sessions, and
• Leverage rapid prototyping and frequent customer interaction to make informed design decisions,
• Develop UI Guidelines and standards 

Required Skills

• UX/interaction sense.
  You must excel at inventing and tuning intuitive user experiences at both a high level to page level work flow and interaction.
• BA or MA in Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, or HCI, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years professional experience designing interactive user interfaces for product software and web applications.
• User-centered design perspective and understanding of related design methodologies.
• Experience with conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies.
• Collaborative team skills and experience working with agile development (scrum) a plus.
• Must be a self-starter and self-direct
• Experience with CAD systems, PLM systems, or any enterprise applications is a plus.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree
• 5 years of UX design experience
